چکیده
Wireless and ad hoc are the striking networks these days in which many researchers are working. Basically Wireless or mobile networks are emerged to replace the wired networks from traditional scenario to new paradigm. The next trend of wireless network is quite differ than conventional wired network in many ways viz. infrastructure, cost, capacity, adaptability, easy to operate, schematizing routing protocols along with configuration and many more. Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) are comprehensively used in defence, agriculture and other civilian applications. So, this dynamic in nature of MANETs consent to participating nodes to collude their operations to increase the capability. This paper prescribed on the full study and analysis of comparison between Destination Sequence Distance Vector routing protocol and Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector routing protocol in MANET while considering black hole attack. In Black Hole Attack a malicious node advertises itself as having the shortest path to the node whose packets it wants to intercept. So to rectify the possibility of occurrence of black hole attack we proposed our comparative fields of study in conjunction with elimination of black hole attack by reducing communication overheads using AODV over DSDV protocol. This work is emphasized on, to identify attack and a solution to discover a safe route for secure communication to endeavour our all efforts into a common platform.

Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) are receiving a significant interest and are becoming very popular in the world of wireless networks and telecommunication. MANETs consist of mobile nodes which can communicate with each other without any infrastructure or centralized administration. In MANETs, the movement of nodes is unpredictable and complex; thus making the routing of the packets challenging....

Ad-hoc network is an autonomous mobile node. It is a set of temporary based networks, which has not fixed infrastructure. The Ad-hoc networks are very much positive towards attack by malicious node due to its vulnerabilities nature of routing protocols. There are large numbers of attacks affect the Ad-hoc networks. In between these attacks one is very much known as Black Hole Attack. In this pa...

AODV is a reactive MANET routing protocol that does not support security of routing messages. SAODV is an extension of the AODV routing protocol that is designed to fulfil security features of the routing messages. In this paper, we study the performance of both AODV and SAODV routing protocols under the presence of blackhole, grayhole, selfish and flooding attacks. We conclude that the perform...

This paper reviews security issues on Adhoc network and Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol. In Adhoc network, active attack i.e DDOS, blackhole and malicious nodes attack can easily occur. These attacks can decrease the performance of the communications protocol. In this paper, AODV was chosen as the basic protocol to perform simulations due to the fact that the AODV protocol can ...
